Domus Bothnica is located on the sea shore on Palosaari, right next to city center of Vaasa. It was designed as a union of traditional architecture of the Cotton Factory and modern environments of Vaasa. The sea views on three sides of the building creates a unique and impressive atmosphere to the area. The premises form a harmonious unity with the exceptional sea shore location. Domus Bothnica is an integral part of Vaasa's image as a University City, and holds a great symbolic value for the university students in Vaasa. It also helps building strong ties between the students and the corporate life. The ground floor premises include the Wärtsilä Hall and ABB Sauna, rentable for various events and other purposes. A 70 squaremeter atrium is located at the heart of the building, giving natural light to all the activities within it. The first and second floors hold premises suitable for companies and societies. The ground floor and half of the first floor are owned by the Student Union of the University of Vaasa, while the second half the first floor and the second floor is owned by Palosaaren Yrityskeskus.
